Abstract
This article analyzes the methodology of Regulatory Impact Assessment and how it could be applied in environmental matters to produce better public decisions. It looks at two presidential executive orders that have been the regulatory source or RIA in Chile and evaluates how they have been applied in decisions regarding environmental and natural resources matters, between 2019 and 2022.
