Municipal councils are spaces for political participation, which have been occupied by various interest groups that seek to set their agendas in this local space. Indigenous peoples are also part of these groups that participate in these spaces in pursuit of their visibility and positioning their demands within the communal sphere. Based on the review of three cases of municipal councils in Chile, which have the participation of people from indigenous peoples, we will seek to know the dynamics and whether the agenda of the indigenous peoples and their demands are reflected in this participation and therefore seek to answer if The municipal councils are spaces for this positioning of the people.
